Betsy Wurdeman is of counsel with Elise Buie Family Law and an estate planning attorney who strives to make estate planning approachable and affordable for everyone. With a passion for providing peace of mind to individuals and families alike through comprehensive and compassionate estate planning, Betsy provides clients with a convenient, efficient, and cost-effective experience.
Betsy began her legal career with a passion for working with families and making legal services accessible to our underserved communities. She enjoyed volunteering with the Housing Justice Project, King County Bar Association’s Family Law Mentor Program, the Cross-Cultural Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinic, and the World Peace Through Law Section. After 10 years of practicing as a family law litigator, the transition to estate planning was a natural fit for Betsy’s career goals and her personality.
Betsy is collaboratively trained and has 40 hours of mediation training. In addition to providing comprehensive estate planning, she also enjoys helping clients form or grow their families through assisted reproductive technology, surrogacy, or adoption.
