Colleen’s passion for family law began when she observed the significant impact personal conflicts were having on her friends’ and families’ lives. Witnessing how deeply such disputes can affect individuals, she developed a strong appreciation for the responsibility that comes with helping clients navigate the most cherished and significant aspects of their lives. For Colleen, supporting family law clients is a privilege she approaches with care and dedication.
Philosophy and Background
Colleen is committed to providing added comfort and support to her clients during one of the most stressful times in their lives, helping to ease the burden for them and their families. She believes balancing a calming presence with the tenacity required to achieve a positive outcome for her clients is truly an art.
Colleen holds a B.A. in the philosophy of law and society from the University of Colorado Boulder and a J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is licensed to practice law in Washington and is awaiting licensure in Colorado.
In 2023, Colleen completed the ABA Family Law Section Trial Advocacy Institute, further refining her courtroom skills.
Role in the Seattle Community
In her free time, Colleen enjoys taking a workout class, cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen, or going to see a play with her significant other. She is also a huge sports fan, with a particular love for NFL football and the Buffalo Bills. Colleen won her fantasy football league last year, a testament to her competitive spirit. Also, Colleen is a very involved aunt who cherishes spending time with her niece, who lives in Colorado.
