Kate decided to become a Family Law Attorney during law school, to help clients protect life’s most valuable assets: family relationships, personal well-being, and financial security.

Kate graduated from law school with two young children. She understands the rigors and rewards of balancing work and family, and enjoys crafting unique and creative solutions to life’s challenges. A natural advocate and experienced trial attorney, Kate recognizes that the long-term success of a family is often best served when a settlement is agreed upon by well-supported, thoroughly informed clients.

In each case, Kate prioritizes the well-being of any children, and on maintaining and repairing the integrity of family relationships. Kate strives to support clients during their legal matters, and guide clients toward decisions that will create a well-balanced life once their matter is resolved. Kate is passionate about empowering clients to thrive.

Kate has volunteered with the St. Louis County Domestic Violence Court, assisting survivors of domestic violence. She has also volunteered with the Pierce County Housing Justice Project.

In her free time, Kate is enjoying life with her two kids. An enthusiastic traveler, Kate spent two years in Niger, West Africa with the Peace Corps, spent a semester abroad in London, England, and has lived in beautiful and interesting places as a former military spouse. Kate thoroughly enjoys learning about people, places, and languages, and travels as much as she can. She enjoys reading and the arts.
