John attended Miami University of Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in trombone performance. After a brief time teaching music and performing, he decided to pursue his passion for advocacy as an attorney and earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. During law school John participated in the Immigration Law Clinic and studied civil rights.
Philosophy and Background
John’s areas of practice are family law and estate planning. John enjoys helping to keep his clients out of court and conflict by meeting their estate planning goals in advance. He brings this passion into his work as a family law attorney, where he can advocate for his clients while working towards resolving difficult conflict.
John has practiced family law, estate planning, and immigration law throughout Washington for nearly 20 years and believes in empowering clients through education and understanding.
Role in the Seattle Community
John loves being a musician, and you might find him performing in a jazz club or at a music festival around town. He also enjoys hiking, photography and the great outdoors.
