Morgan Blackbourn, Esq. is a family law attorney who is passionate about ensuring her clients’ needs are both heard and prioritized. She understands the importance of open communication so clients are not only informed but a teammate in resolving the issues that affect them. 

 

With over a decade of legal experience behind her, Morgan recognizes that every client’s needs are unique to them. Her philosophy and approach are, therefore, to keep clients’ goals at the forefront of all legal matters, knowing this is the most effective and advantageous route for finding both workable and livable solutions that will endure for years to come.     

 

Philosophy and Background

 

A skilled negotiator, Morgan is experienced in contract negotiations, jury trials, mediation, arbitration, and appellate practice. Morgan helps clients throughout the state of Washington who are embarking on the next stage in their relationships by creating clear relationship agreements. Cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements are the tools she uses to bring peace and security to our clients.


With her experience and training in collaborative law and alternative dispute resolution, Morgan is skilled at helping our clients come to a peaceful settlement. Regardless of the path, Morgan’s clients can count on her legal skills and keen intuition to provide strong yet compassionate representation.

 

Morgan holds her B.A. in communication from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law.

 

Role in the Seattle Community

 

A fifth-generation Puget Sound-area resident, Morgan enjoys all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.  She and her spouse are avid Husky football fans and love spending time with their two young children.  Morgan enjoys cooking, gardening, water sports, knitting, and woodworking.
