Shaunis Mercer has dedicated her career as an attorney to helping families move forward in difficult times. She has spent the past eighteen years as an attorney, representing clients from all walks of life. Her ability to explain complex legal issues in everyday language comes from her belief that clients who are well-informed are best empowered to make the best decisions about how to take the next step.

Shaunis brings her background and talents to the Elise Buie Family Law team as Legal Services Director of both our Family Law and Estate Planning groups, focused on ensuring your legal team is supported to meet your unique needs and provide you with education throughout the legal process.

Throughout her career, Shaunis has balanced direct representation of clients with coaching and managing teams of attorneys to improve their skills communicating with their clients as well as working to elevate the practical skills required to be a good attorney. She continues that path here by managing our legal services teams and representing our Estate Planning clients.
