Emily O’Neill is a family law paralegal at Elise Buie Family Law Group and has been with the firm since 2021. Passionate about empowering and educating her clients as they navigate times of transition in their lives, Emily approaches every interaction with care and empathy.
Emily graduated with a degree in law from the University College Cork, Ireland, in 2018. As a law student, Emily gained experience in criminal law during her time with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, as well as in family law.
While preparing for the Bar Exam, Emily dedicated her time to comprehensive case management at the Veterans Outreach Center, a nonprofit organization that serves veterans and their families. In 2018, she was awarded Employee of the Year as a show of appreciation for her dedicated service and outreach efforts, which included empowering veterans in need to reach out for assistance and providing support.
In July 2019, Emily passed the New York State Bar Exam and was admitted to the New York State Bar in June 2021. Originally from New York, she relocated to Washington with her husband in late 2019. In her free time, Emily enjoys adventuring and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their two dogs. She also enjoys painting and hiking and is always on the lookout for her next good read.
